 Swimming with flippers....
Sunday May 17th, TAHITI PALMES association with the Tahitian Federation of underwater sports organized in the lagoon of Faa’a: the first round of the 2009 Polynesian championship.
The lagoon was choppy with a strong current, the distance was 3 800 m well indicated by “NAUTISPORT “buoys & the Bathys Diving Tahiti ‘s wharf.
The winner was Bernard BEGLIOMINI in 40’57’’, followed by Michel BEGUE 43’34’’, Teva TAUMIHAU 45-17 " and Xavier MARESCO in 51 ' 27 ".
On the departure line: Colette HUMEAU was the one & the only participant for the women, she finished in 52’04’’.
The organization of the race was outstanting thanks to the Bathys Diving Tahiti and many thanks to the boat brought by the Tahitian fédération.
